YOUR TREATMENT At A-I-M For Health, after an initial discussion about your ailment, your treatment would usually begin with a tongue & pulse diagnosis. In Eastern Medicine this is done to highlight any imbalance within the body. This is usually followed by a series of manual muscle tests, in which the therapist isolates and tests the strength of specific muscles in the body looking for weaknesses which could cause a muscle imbalance, which in turn can lead to a structural imbalance. Muscle testing is one of the main diagnostic tools we use. Studies have shown that there is a direct link between muscles, organs, the lymphatic system and the Chinese meridian system. By testing and assessing muscle strength/weakness, we can find and eliminate imbalances in these areas, thus restoring health and balance.
